Intercontinental flight Paris –  Santiago de Chile was long… But we are happy that all our luggage reached the destination together with us. Our main concern was lost equipment. In rent-a-car we collected our red truck. We not only have a lot of bags full of equipment, but we need also to find a place to load diving tank, we rented in Santiago. We plan to dive as much as we can, mostly for the purpose of medical research. We took also 3 oxygen tanks, just in case of emergency. After loading everything we head to Copiapo. It’s about 800 kilometers. In Copiapo we spent a night, do some shopping (water and gasoline), eat, have a good sleep and then to Atakama!
